the car is beautiful and perfect. A combination of rallying and beige boxes, and the racing requirements that they sell these to the public. I've only seen one once, a silver one in the Petersen Auto museum garage. Too bad rally regulations don't require ford to sell the m-sport rally spec fiestas to the public :D

get onto the EVO Australian forums, heaps of people doing conversions like that. And for a little further reading look up the Proton Jumbuck they are essentially a CC Mirage Ute, that can take a 4g63
Also look up e RVR HyperSportsGear R, factory minivan with EVO III drivetrain
Annandale finally for a non-turbo awd Lancer based car the Libero Wagon awd can be pilfered for its rear differential.
What me? Mitsubishi fanboy? No... Yes.
Don't even get me started on VR4s!

Buddy of mine used to own a Lancer Evo VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition, before that he had a Ford Escort Cosworth converted to RWD with 750ish HP, and now he's a cop.. go figure :P

Speaking of conversions, I spotted this on the street a few weeks ago.
